Birthday

My birthday is coming fast! I created a birthday website/blog on tumblr, and people can share birthday wishes, view pictures of the party, and view my wish list to give them ideas on what to give me. As you've probably noticed, on the right there is a slideshow of pictures from my twelfth birthday! I'm starting to plan my bday party(s) now! Yay!

Summer!

It's finally SUMMER! No school, sun, more relaxation time, more fun. Right?

Wrong. I'm heading to Canada for skating this summer, and it's truly the hardest work I've ever done. You don't get a rest for the whole 2.75 hours and 1 hour off ice. Scratch that relaxation time and fun.

As for sun? Well, we are extremely lucky when we get a ray of sunshine. The weather channel is predicting nice weather next week, so lets keep our fingers crossed. But for now, sun is off the list.

No school..well I can't argue with that! :)

The Nifty Fifties

I'm performing the Nifty Fifties musical by Pioneer Drama Co. with my musical theatre program at school. I am one of the main characters, Rose Marie Famiano. It's a really fun musical! We are performing sometime in May.

Seattle Skating Club 75th Anniversary Ice Show

I went to the SSC ice show yesterday with my friends, Kacie and Shoritah. They were both in it. It was a fun show, and my favorite act was Amanda Hoffman's "Miracle" program. Amanda is an amazing skater! It was fun to see Joe again (aka Jumping Joe), and I ran into my friend Martine. She lives in Bellingham, but skates over in Canada with Scott and I sometimes. The announcer spoke way too slow, but it was a nice night.

Bike Riding

Cam learned how to ride his bike yesterday! We all peddled around the neighborhood. It is sunny and was sunny yesterday too. Great accomplishment. Go Cam!

Path

Do you have a Path account? Probably not. Most people ask me: "What is Path?"

Path is a facebook kind of thing. My parents aren't allowing me to get a FB, but they did allow me to get a Path account. Path only lets you view the profile of people that have accepted your request of friendship. It is kind of like an online journal that you share with friends. You can put in if you are awake or asleep, what music you are listening to, what you are thinking or doing (this part is exactly like FB), you can share pictures and videos, you can share where you are, and you can share who you are with.

I actually like it better than FB, despite that almost nobody is on it. Try it out! It is free, easy to use, and fast. I highly recommend it. Just go to the AppStore and download Path. It's that easy.

And then you can ask for my username!

RAIN:

Pros

• Stops plants and grass from getting all dried out
• Can be refreshing
• If you don't have rain, you want it!
• Puddles to splash in
• If there isn't any rain, there is no rainbows!

Cons

• You need sun for photosynthesis (flowers, plants)
• Cold and wet
• Gets muddy and sometimes splashes
• Cars always splash the puddles all over
• Doesn't make you as happy as when it is sunny and warm and bright
• If there isn't any sun, no rainbows!

Happy Valentine's Day! I love this holiday. It is so sweet, and pretty in my opinion. Do you think it is a commercial holiday? Or do you like it? Take a vote at the bottom of the page. Some singles hate this holiday because they feel lonely. I am single but I think it is just another way to show how you care. Sometimes I miss exchanging cards like you would do in elementary school. It is always exciting when you open your box or mailbox, and see all the different cards and candy. Today, I am wearing a white t-shirt with a pink cami under. The shirt is colorful and has "dance like no one is watching" written on it. It is very Valentine-y. Sorry I haven't written much lately. I have been very busy. Sledding

Today I went sledding with a couple friends, Scott, and Cam. We went on a empty road and it was really fun! Cam and I brought a couple neon green saucers, and our friends each brought their own sled. We also had a snowball fight, but it was quick because we got cold really fast! We went home and had hot cocoa after.

Ice Dancing

Hopefully everyone who knows me knows that I'm a serious ice dancer (ice skating with a partner). In case you didn't know, it was pretty obvious from the title of this blog (An Ice Dancing Musical Adventure). Anyway, I recently got a partner from near Dallas, Texas. He is living with us until his parents can move here, and we skate together well. His name is Scott Dudley. It is really great for me to have a partner. It's kind of funny because he got here Saturday morning and we haven't been able to skate yet. We had a lesson earlier today, but it was canceled because of snow. There isn't much where we live, but there is a lot where our coach lives. I think we are skating tomorrow with him instead, hopefully, so that's good!

I Love Snow..

A Quick Story

Today I went to a rink about 40 minutes away to work with my coach, Ben. My mom and I drove all the way down there, then realized we forgot my ice skates!! We ran in and told Ben we would be late getting back and drove home to get my skates. Then we had to drive there again and I had a good lesson but it was definitely cut short. It was supposed to go from 2-3 but instead was only a half hour :(. We drove back home, and by the time we got back we were seriously tired of driving!!

Welcome to my blog! I definitely created this blog on the fly, and I really hope to keep up with it. I've tried to blog before, but I think I was too serious about it so I'm going to have fun with this blog! It might be a little random so stick with me. I hope I can succeed my goal. After all, when is it better to start a blog than the new year?
