Here's a quick poem.

Kissing the Air:

When I stared out at rain, I thought I saw you

Thought a dream had just come true

But when I leaned to kiss your cheek

There was nothing but air, cold and meek

You seemed to soar into my heart

But when I went to greet, the light was dark

My dreams turn sad, no nightmares could compare

When I thought I would never survive, you were really there

But every night when I reach to kiss

The air brushes my lips and I remember my miss

Sledding

Today I went sledding with a couple friends, Scott, and Cam. We went on a empty road and it was really fun! Cam and I brought a couple neon green saucers, and our friends each brought their own sled. We also had a snowball fight, but it was quick because we got cold really fast! We went home and had hot cocoa after.

Ice Dancing

Hopefully everyone who knows me knows that I'm a serious ice dancer (ice skating with a partner). In case you didn't know, it was pretty obvious from the title of this blog (An Ice Dancing Musical Adventure). Anyway, I recently got a partner from near Dallas, Texas. He is living with us until his parents can move here, and we skate together well. His name is Scott Dudley. It is really great for me to have a partner. It's kind of funny because he got here Saturday morning and we haven't been able to skate yet. We had a lesson earlier today, but it was canceled because of snow. There isn't much where we live, but there is a lot where our coach lives. I think we are skating tomorrow with him instead, hopefully, so that's good!

I Love Snow..

I love snow! Especially deep snow, but even a little is awesome. I enjoy skiing, sledding, having snowball fights, having hot cocoa, and having no school. What do you like about snow? Take a vote at the bottom of the page, by the Cool Links and New Books and Movies I've Seen/Watched. Happy Snow!

A Quick Story

Today I went to a rink about 40 minutes away to work with my coach, Ben. My mom and I drove all the way down there, then realized we forgot my ice skates!! We ran in and told Ben we would be late getting back and drove home to get my skates. Then we had to drive there again and I had a good lesson but it was definitely cut short. It was supposed to go from 2-3 but instead was only a half hour :(. We drove back home, and by the time we got back we were seriously tired of driving!!

Welcome to my blog! I definitely created this blog on the fly, and I really hope to keep up with it. I've tried to blog before, but I think I was too serious about it so I'm going to have fun with this blog! It might be a little random so stick with me. I hope I can succeed my goal.
